Another month, another sneak peek into the book I am still working on— editing at a snails pace because I really, really, just despise editing. This month focuses on chapter nine which discusses some of the dark realities of being a photographer. All the not so sensational stories that make up the career field that if we are 100 % honest we do not like to discuss or acknowledge.

Glass Eyes Sneak Peek #6
If you have been following along for the last six months then you are aware I hav been working on a memoir and posting sneak peeks at the beginning of each month.
At the end of March into the beginning of April I competed the first draft and have started editing and revisions. For those of you who aren’t writers it is the tedious and boring part. So it feels like it is taking me forever to get through that phase but I am hoping to get it into publication for the beginning of 2022.

So yes, I am currently writing a memoir about my first decade in photography. I am not usually a story teller with words, images are my medium so I needed an accountability post because more often than not this is a project I want to just stop. I mean writing is hard. It is so very hard and I have no idea how those who put out numerous works a year find that motivation. Writing is hard.
