I sometimes like to look at quotes, any kind and ruminate on them and see how the meaning can be applied to my life or just in general. I have a lot of quotes I love and most of them are not about photography, a lot come from what many find to be terribly boring books—biographies. All of them speak to me.

Last year five minutes from my house a local farm grew an area or so of sunflowers that they opened to the public. My sister, niece and I went out to cut a few boutiques and take pictures for a fun fall afternoon. Also to fulfill a photography dream shoot.
Read MoreIt has been a great horse show year and in large part that is due to the re-opening of Grizzle Ridge Arena in Jerusalem, Ohio. Back in May when they put together their first show and was looking for a photographer at the last minute I wasn’t sure what was going to happen with this arena.
