Years ago I put together a very half assed on a whim application to the IEA through the Ohio Arts Council. Naturally nothing came of it and frankly reading through my first attempt was painful and very unthought out.

Anyways this year Photographers in Ohio are eligible to apply and this program would come with a decent grant that would effectively help me update some equipment I really need as my equine events continue to stack up.

The Sunday Sort

My first cattle sort was actually a two day event. The first day being the experienced drive and the second day being the “fun show” version.

I will say I loved the speed and agility of the competitors in the open but the length and size of the “fun show”. Perhaps because my body was just in pain, but also because it was a much, much shorter day in comparison to day one.
