As the year comes to a close so too does the fun horse shows at the Belmont County Fairgrounds. These are languid days of riders out playing with their horses in non-traditional classes such as panty hose races and egg and spoon.

At the time I justified it as necessary for an event in which a third, or fourth body would be more useful and time saving that switching lenses in a fast paced environment. However that was a partial truth as my favorite body had a number of years wear and tear and wasn’t as up to date for action photography as a new body was slated to be.
