One of the greatest things about photography is getting reflect back on sessions you have done through out the years. With 13 years of experience I have a lot of favorite past shoots I like to think about, some I still have images from and some from my brief time in a commercial studio that I sadly no longer have access to the images from.
So I am not a commercial holiday person but couples photos are always fun and what’s great about this holiday is showing appreciation whether to a partner or yourself. Yeah singles this is for you too. Love yourselves enough to have fun even if it means taking dream photos solo.
Every woman needs to find their confidence and fall in love with the body they have. There is no perfect body. Every body is perfection in its own way.
At the end of 2019 I was considering retiring from rodeo photography, 2020 ultimately helped make that decision for me by cancelling everything and while 2021 had events reopening I found I was not enthused to hit the rodeo dirt. I was ready for a new chapter, a new challenge, to find a new love in the photography field.
A few years back my sister came to me and wanted to do a boudoir shoot. I had never done one before but as a photographer the one thing I am is willing to try any genre once. What I didn’t know is that I would absolutely love the creativity of the photos, of working in a tiny bedroom, of women loving themselves so much they want to capture that beautiful feeling and bring me in as the means.
These are empowering shoots and I have enjoyed working with the many women who have trusted me to capture intimate shots for them to enjoy or for them to gift to their partners. It inspired me and became something I wanted to do more of and so multiple boudoir packages were born.
The holiday season is upon us once again and sometimes finding that perfect gift can be such a struggle! Gosh, believe me I know I have two hard women to gift every year so I understand the struggle of finding that just right item.
So what if I told you that best gift could be something that empowers the woman in your life. Brings her confidence, makes her love herself and see herself the way you do? What if I told you, that same gift could be even more meaningful if you participate as well?
