Between last year and this year my work as a photographer has been making a change. I am very much still loving my work, but I am also moving on from things to drive myself into a new direction and era. I started writing a memoir to help new buddying photographers— I choose this over a manual because my journey, my experiences felt valuable enough to share and there are thousands of manuals out there.
I am also planning to do more portraiture and several more equine events. Which kicked off with he benefit barrel race in May, but now show season is upon us with multiple shows a week. I am mentoring those wanting to learn action photography at some of the shows as well as doing my own shooting.
I am excited for how I can find new creative ways to get the shot this year, having a new lens, and new tech to further drive my business and god willing good mobility back to allow it all to go smoothly. I am excited to see how this year shapes up, to write, edit, and publish a book and just see what the next chapter is in my own photography story.
