That is the byline of the article published in my local paper over the weekend. It is the write up that makes the memoir I wrote feel all the more real.
After two years of work, 45,000 words, and curating images for inclusion my memoir is complete, it is published and it is imperfect much like me. I am thrilled, nervous but also extremely proud of myself for seeing a dream to completion.
