Photographing Harrison Centrals Theater Production

As a photographer I will say I do not make a habit of following high school events, mostly because I have little reason to having no personal ties to the school systems myself. However when a friend who knew performers in one of the local high schools production saw it she talked it up so much I had to go watch the final performance for myself.

The caveat however was my need to bring the camera. Thanks to covid cancelling so many live performances it has been far too long since I was challenged to shooting live shows without knowing exactly movements and choreography of the production. Without knowing the spots and tricky lightening bits.

I was hooked by the prospected and my friend graciously got me in contact with the shows director which allowed me to secure permission to bring my camera and photograph the show. It was as much fun as I had hoped and after a few days editing the images were made available to the kids, families, and school.
