This has probably been one of the prettier falls the past few years where notably we have gotten snow in Ohio in the month of October usually when I have an outdoor fall themed session with a bride and groom for after sessions of engagement photos. This year was the notable difference as instead of wedding industry related sessions I have had more family and equine.
For those in the equine world then you are familiar with working in all weather year round. I have photographed in snow storms, rain, and below zero chills at horsing events and on farms for clients because in truth if you have animals and are a competitor with them then there isn’t a long off season for you. So in truth to that industry my usual cut off for bookings before a scheduled break for myself was extended by several weeks this year and they were filled in minutes.
As these sessions come up I find I get to reflect on how this Autumn was for me. It was more colorful, vibrant, and picturesque than it has been in years past. It made for a fun time to just be outside and be photographing.
Here are a few favorite images from the season.
