My second entry in the 2025 PX3 competition is the adorable image of my sisters 2024 stud colt named Smooth Illumination.
This image was taken on the day Lumi was born, he was fresh out of the oven and taking a nap after he was all cleaned off. I was so excited for his birth that I grabbed the camera and rushed to the barn forgetting that my low light lens were not in the camera bag.
However it was a blessing because I got to make some gorgeous images that day working a little harder to make up for the wrong lenses. The effects blew were because my lens was fogging up going from an AC environment into the muggy heat that was the day Lumi was born.
Wish me luck on my second PX3 entry for 2025!
