My second favorite image I made in 2024 is of a beautiful Dahlia from when I visited my friend in Hillard’s Dahlia Farm. Visiting them and photographing their blooms that they spends countless hours preparing for, growing, and event created a business of has become one of my favorite things to do every year.
It is one of the more relaxing and fun days I have because there are no expectations other than pretty flowers, conversation, and seeing a friend I wish I saw more. This image represents all of that and is whimsically pretty, I see it as a screen saver and I can see it hanging on someone’s wall.
