This year has been interesting. At first I thought it was going to be a slow photography year with all the tornados and damage that set things behind but then a arena opened up, drought set in and magically horse show season was a go. The only cancellations in my future were heat cancellations or occasionally a migraine taking me down.
This has been a very successful year for me as a photographer coming back from years of covid shut downs, inflation, and weather related cancellations. It has been a year that brought back the feeling of finally feeling like myself and returning to a way of life that I had lost when I retired from rodeo. That busy feeling complete with getting create pretty images.
One of the fun sessions I had this year was meeting and photographing a very cute, two year old stallion named Iced Out Casamova whom I was tasked with capturing to create his very first stud ad.
