One thing I really loved about cruises was the live performances. My first cruise I was just getting into photography so while I tried to shoot some my images weren’t the best and it was about having a good time not having a good time with a camera.
By 2019 however half my identity and joy comes from playing with a camera in hard to photograph environments and what is better than live shows on a cruise ship? Especially, shows you do not know the choreography and lighting thus challenging yourself to shoot blind…
To say I had a blast was an understatement and I loved the images I made and edited back then but again the edits were lighter and my taste run a tad darker now. Check out my old vs new below.
