As many of you know 2020 did a number on me, not only did it scale back my shooting, but it ended up costing me three years of photography competition entries. Not because of anything other than I wasn’t inspired by my work and I didn’t feel I had anything worthy so I took years off.
One of my goals for this year was to get back into entering bigger comps again. So I have entered everything from portraits, equines to flowers.
The Px3: Prix de la Photographie de Paris announced its winners in August and I am pleased to share I won an honorable mention for my equine series: Soul of the Horse.
