One of the fun things as a photographer is turning your work into art pieces. Many times for me I don’t have this opportunity because I am hired for documentary style work but on rare occasions I get images that can suit multiple purposes.
Last year when visiting a friends Dahlia farm I made one image that spoke to me on such a level that I could see it as a series of three canvas’s on the wall.
Now before Dahlia enthusiasts come clamoring that there is no blue and yellow dahlia that is actually yellow and white with a cool casting and appears that way because of the lighting when I made the image. It is kinda like that optical illusion dress photo…. was it blue or yellow.
