You may notice a trend with the images I selected from horsing events. Most of them in this top 15 are from Grizzle Ridge, not because I prefer them or was only at their events but because they had the most shows I was able to attend this year and further offered the ability for me to photograph new events.
And the struggle is real picking my favorite images of the year. I have photographed wonderful events.
I absolutely loved the cow cutting at a ranching show, it was complex, because of light, movement, angles and space.
Yet it was so dynamic and fun to watch especially when you had horses and riders so in tune with each other that truly enjoy their skill and work.
