On the writing side of my life and business, I have taken a step back from writing books after my memoir in 2022 was released. Namely because I have a few ideas but in different genres and after the bout of post-creative depression I had after the memoir I am not mentally ready to try again. But event with the step back I do on occasion write a helpful, how-to guides.
My first guide was how-to use Shutterfly. It was inspired by a lovely retired couple who have been traveling and were wanting to take their travel images and book them in a book but were confused by the process. I at first did a teach with them, but the technology was tricky and after a couple visits, and one day were I stayed and assisted in putting the entire book together the idea of the guide came to me. I took them a copy and it must have worked because I haven’t heard from them about needing assistance again.
My newest guide was inspired by a horse show participant who enjoyed the images I was taking but was unsure how to use my gallery. For the most part I have always found my gallery to be fairly simple to use but I was born into technology and raised through it changing and growing. So I decided to create a guide to help my older clients navigate and use my galleries.
