This year brought a lot of change when my former co-workers and I all left our jobs at nearly the same time. These were co-workers I am close with and stayed in my position because I truly enjoyed working with them and seeing them everyday. But even the best work relationships can’t make a bad job tolerable forever and we all wisened up and left for our sanity.
As a result we have decided to have monthly get to togethers and outings. And we strive to make them family friendly so the groups husbands and children are included as well. May’s outing was a trip to the Good Zoo on the first scorchingly hot day of the year.
But for as hot as it was everyone had a great time, the kids got a chance to see animals and play together and the photo nerds got the drag their cameras along for the ride.
