I have photographed a lot of rodeos. I started back in 2010 with a portrait lens, a low level DSLR and not much clue on how to really shoot action in poor, poor, so poor light.
Nearly a decade later and I can see the improvement from gear to style and ability. I don’t often like to reflect back on the old because I really was terrible but my how I grew over the course of my rodeo career..
What you see above is some of my first rodeo photographs complete with my former hobbyist name TB Photography and the very first logo.
Compared with my work in 2019 as Exposure One Studios before I made the decision to retire from rodeo to pursue other photographic interests.
