Rodeo season for this rodeo photographer as reached an end. My last rodeo was my hometown and as I expected my county fair let me down with their limited lighting set up they invested in. Photographers use light to make images and when the light is not there it becomes a challenge, shooting in the dark is no persons friend.
That said it was great to get out with my rodeo peers, chat, meet some new talent entering the field, and capture the memories. This seasons finale was a hot one, a dust and dark one but I did capture some of my favorite images there, going much more artistic than I have in a long, long time.
