Photography Is One Aspect of What I Do

Back before I started to develop under the new moniker 'Exposure One Studios', I was branding under my initials TB Photography. At the time I started it was all I could think to call myself. It wasn't long, drawn out, and as an added plus was relatively easy to use and remember.

But after a summer chasing news stories and taking photo-journalistic images I knew I wanted to make photography more than a second in my life, I wasn't happy without some kind of creative in my everyday and so the work began to prepare Exposure One Studios- A name that came to me while sitting in the harbor of Capetown, South Africa on my 2012 travels.

Yet, all the work and imagery I did with TB Photography is hard to forget, as it was more than just making images. Although that was a big part. It was creation of ads, social media marketing images, and sometimes using my own images to frame a quote I love.

A poster I created for a film that unfortunately never quite got off the ground and into production.

A Veteran's Day social media post image.

A digital compilation of film images taken when I was much, much younger for a Memorial Day image posting.

In 2014 I spent a fair amount of time with Shadow Montag's XTR Drill Team taking images for their social media sites, websites, and sponsors as well as creating posters, thank you cards, and frame pieces for each sponsor of their tour designed to give back to our wounded warriors.

A performance image converted into a Memorial Day message.

Then there was the designing of promotional print and media posters for the studio I use to work at-- we ran a location contest not a company sponsored one.

As a creator, photographer, i love shooting the hard to get images, low lighting, no flash, lots of movement, lots of dust, dirt, and mud. This has lead to shooting, creating, and designing rodeo promotional images.

And if there is one thing that is exciting and cool it is designing something you get to see everywhere. Print, Media, and even clothing. Logo design, all my photographic logos were self designed, I have even partially designed a logo for an equine massage therapist.

It all comes full circle to where I am and more so where I am hoping to go with my future.

To client specification are coloring, wording, and use of horse pre-made image.

Custom business cards.

The TB Photography Logo.

And last but not least the new official logo of my renamed photographic venture.
