Never Stop Shooting| Never Stop Seeing

Most photographers are always on. I am no different, even when I am not holding a camera and actively shooting, I am aware of the light, of compositions, of what would be photo worthy.

Tonight, on a brief outing on a rainy evening my dog, the rain, the light created a scene I wanted to capture, to remember as more than a snapshot. In my mind, the way he was sitting, looking out the window was breath taking, the light was soft filtering through the window, and with a little creative work in post-process the image would be exactly the art I wanted to capture of my fur-child.

While I wish I would have had my professional grade camera on hand, I hadn't actively planned on shooting anything particular. It was more of a visit my aunt, and grab some food outing- photo taking wasn't even on my mind! So I was using my cell phone that has seen better days and is probably days to a week of needing replaced- another story, short version I can no longer easily answer phone calls which is short of problematic- but it worked for the moment. Worked for a quick share of one natural image to my instagram where my dog might intermix with my business images- he is adorable it is hard not to share his beauty on my business page!

My cell phone produces nice quality images, and I was able to create the image in my head, the image that has already been sent to a print lab and will grace my walls.
