Sometimes as a photographer my task venture outside the realm of photography. Sometimes those tasks are things that allow me to grow skills and make new interesting things.

Which is why it is no surprise several years ago I started adding graphic design to my arsenal of tricks. And that has allowed me to take on new and fun contracts.

Such as making ads.

Last year I was contracted to make a stud ad for a local breeder. It was a fun test of my skills though ultimately the owner wasn’t happy with the horses “parked” stance and opted for a headshot version of the ad instead of the one featured in the making of video below.
