Years ago I put together a very half assed on a whim application to the IEA through the Ohio Arts Council. Naturally nothing came of it and frankly reading through my first attempt was painful and very unthought out.

Anyways this year Photographers in Ohio are eligible to apply and this program would come with a decent grant that would effectively help me update some equipment I really need as my equine events continue to stack up.

Therefore I decided to give a go and put a lot more effort into it.

I enlisted my sister to help me narrow it down from 30ish images to 12. I enlisted a friend to help edit my narrative and Phil statement so I wouldn’t sound moronic, and I carefully sized and uploaded the images.

Fingers crossed this be cool to win but I am sure I will figure it out even if I do not.
